Described Video (DV) is a verbal description of what appears on screen during a program. The description is added during pauses in the dialogue, and helps those who are visually impaired understand what is happening on the screen.
Crave currently has described video for over 5,000 English titles and over 3,000 French titles on the following platforms:

To turn described video on:
- Go to crave.ca or open your Crave app, then select a title to begin playback.
- Select the Languages icon on the bottom right side of the screen.
- Choose your preferred language with “DV” next to it.
To turn described video off:
- Select the Languages icon on the bottom right side of the screen.
- Choose your preferred language without “DV” next to it.
